ANNUAL COUNCIL MEETING (Formerly titled the Annual General Meeting)
of Denton Parish Council held on

All Councillors were summoned to attend.

COVID 19.
In accordance with the Denton Parish Council COVID 19 (Coronavirus) Business Continuity Temporary Parish Council Policy Document, this meeting was conducted in accordance with current Coronavirus guidelines and held outdoors at The Chestnuts, Park Lane Denton.
This was an Annual Meeting of the Parish Council only and as such members of the public were not present..
Serial Purpose
1. Meeting Open
Cllr M.Crush opened the meeting and thanked all for attending. He expressed his gratitude to the members of the Parish Council for their hard work throughout the past year. Despite the problems and difficulties resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and small number of councillors, it has been an active and productive phase and it has been an honour to serve the council as Chair and he is grateful and proud of the dedication shown by the councillors and hopes it will continue to support the community.

4. Pecuniary Interest
None declared.
5. Approve minutes from ACM 11 May 2020 (Virtual Meeting).
Resolution: Minutes approved as an accurate record of the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council. Minutes signed.
6. To elect the Chair of Denton Parish Council
It was proposed and seconded that Cllr S. Bellamy be elected as Chair of Denton Parish Council.
Resolution: Passed
7. To elect the Vice- Chair of Denton Parish Council.
It was Proposed and seconded that Cllr V. Aldred be elected as Vice-Chair of Denton Parish Council.
Resolution: Passed
8. Annual review of Parish Council Documents as follow:
a. Parish Council Standing Orders.
Resolution: Fit for purpose. No revision or amendment required.
b. COVID 19 Business Continuity - Temporary Policy
Resolution: Subject to lifting of government restrictions this policy is no longer required.
c. Complaints Procedure.
Resolution: Fit for purpose. No revision or amendment required.
d. Finance Regulations
Resolution: Fit for purpose. No revision or amendment required.
e. Code of Conduct
Resolution: Fit for purpose. No revision or amendment required.
f. GDPR Compliance
Resolution: Fit for purpose. No revision or amendment required.
9. Other Business
a. Denton Reservoir.
Clarity regarding Parish Council responsibilities in respect of Denton Reservoir required.
Resolution: Inform community via special newsletter edition.
b. New Councillors.
Drive to encourage new members to the Parish Council
Co-option of Mr Paul Gibbins approved.
10. Next Meeting.
The next Annual meeting of the Parish Council will take place at a date and time yet to be decided
