Resolution to Approve minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on Monday 19th May, 2025
7 Public Forum if required.
8 Report from the Parish Clerk including:
a. Community Cleaner report and any other business.
9 Parish Council: General. (Update and Discussion).
a. Play Area update & the successful application applying for funding from the UKSPF - Parish and Community Funding for the installation of play equipment.
b. SID and Road Safety including: Condition of the SID’s and whether to replace the SID currently not working on Belvoir Road.

Including:
i) Vale Parish Group Meeting August 11, 2025 attended by Councillor Bellamy & Councillor Robert
Leadenham.
ii) Forbidden Forest debrief which was sent to Melton Borough Council SAG Team.
e. Dog fouling - particularly in the paddock.
f. Lighting & safety of Bonfires & SKDC guidelines.
g. Lighting suggestions for the footpath between Park Lane & Hungate Road.
h. Requirement for all Parish Council business to move to a council-owned domain for those that
currently use Gmail or Outlook for council communication.
10 Finance: Balance sheet & funds available to date.
i) Email received from P.K. Littlejohn and forwarded to all Councillors regarding the end of year
2024/25 accounts confirming that DPC have complied with the relevant Statute and Regulations
regarding accounts and audit.
11 Planning Applications.
Section 211 notice to reduce crown of Silver Birch tree (T1) by approximately 2.5 meters to clear
BT cables.
