All Parish Councillors are summoned to attend a Parish Council Meeting Monday, 19th May, 2025
at 7:30 pm at Harlaxton Village Hall, Harlaxton.

Please note the change of venue. Due to Denton Village Hall being unavailable the meeting will take place at Harlaxton Village Hall, Harlaxton.

4 Parish Council Declarations Of Pecuniary Interest. Resolution to Note. 5 Items from District and County Councillors
as necessary. As we are holding the Annual Meeting beforehand - items may have been discussed already.
6 Minutes of Previous Meeting Resolution to Approve minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on Monday 31st March, 2025
7 Public Forum - to include: Further Update from Councillor Casement-Thomas regarding the future of Denton Village Hall including the results of the Survey which was distributed to all Councillors prior to the meeting. General discussion regarding volunteers to form a committee to help with the running of the Village Hall.
8 Report from the Parish Clerk including:
a. Community Cleaner report. Confirmation of New Councillor Training: Councillor Amy Leadenham.
9 Parish Council: General. (Update and Discussion).
a. SID and Road Safety including: update on email from SKDC regarding the siting of the SID’s on one of the lampposts. Condition of the SID’s and whether to replace or repair the SID currently on Belvoir Road.
i) CSW (Community Speed Watch) update.
ii) Parking issues in Denton namely at Denton Primary School and any updates.
iii) Lincs CC letter regarding the new siting of the 30mph limits on Belvoir, Harston & Casthorpe Roads.
b. Belvoir Castle events and general update ncluding:
c. Vale Parish Group Meeting (April 28, 2025) attended by Councillor Bellamy. d. Forbidden Forest update regarding the new management of the event & proposed schedule regarding CSW during the event.
e. Dog fouling.
f. Play area, Hungate Road- update. g. Correspondence received from a resident, regarding the installation of new street lighting LED bulbs.
10 Finance: including discussion on the year end for FY 24/25 and the information required by Dendy Choma and P.K. Littlejohn regarding the audit procedure. Payment of yearly insurance premium through Zurich Insurance. Also payment re LALC for updating of the website.

Section 211 notice to reduce crowns of T2 (silver birch) and G1 (3x ash trees) by approximately 35% each as well as removal of T1 (sycamore) to allow the rebuilding of a boundary wall.
