Minutes of the:
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
of Denton Parish Council held on
Monday 19th May, 2025 at 6:30pm in
Harlaxton Village Hall, Harlaxton.
NB: This meeting was recorded.
1 Apologies - Councillor V. Aldred
2 Approval & Acceptance of the Minutes from Monday 27 May 2024.
3 Election of Chair: Due to Councillor V. Aldred submitting his resignation at the Annual Meeting held prior to the AGM. It was agreed that Councillor Andrea Leadenham should be voted in as Chair. This was voted & unanimously agreed.
4 To receive the Chair’s Declaration of
Acceptance of Office.
5 It was agreed that Councillor Patricia Casement-Thomas should be voted in as Vice-Chair. This was voted & unanimously agreed.
6 To receive the Vice Chair’s Declaration of Acceptance of Office
7 To receive the application from Mr. Nigel Elias to become a Councillor. This was voted & unanimously agreed.
7 To receive the Declaration of Acceptance of Office from the other Councillors namely:
Councillor’s Amy Leadenham, Robert Leadenham & Sue Bellamy.
8 Review of Policy Documents:
The documents were considered to be in order.
9 Bank Mandate was reviewed & duly signed.
10 To appoint Councillors Robert Leadenham & Sue Bellamy to represent Denton Parish Council at the Vale Parish Group (VPG) Meetings.
Councillor Sue Bellamy to continue as Acting Clerk until a suitable candidate is appointed.
11 Next AGM meeting for 2026 to be decided & confirmed.
